I'm not sure the harness we bought for Buddy is doing all that much in terms of him not pulling, but it does mean I'm no longer worried about him choking if he pulls too much. So for that, I'll take it. And he's very good about letting us get it on him ( Read more... )

Too much to do today. Need to run to pharmacy after work to hopefully pick up the other box of Zomig, go home, do a couple loads of laundry and pack for the week, clean out my car as it might be getting used this week, study my book, and spend as much time with the dog as I can.

So, uh. Wednesday night A came over to meet the Budster while Morgan was home. A and Buddy got on great, everything was fine, she came over today to get a key and spend some time with him.

Buddy and his human came over Thursday night to do a home visit and see what we thought of each other. We really, really, really had not meant to make a snap decision, but we kind of fell in love with him and sort of got pushed into taking him for a trial adoption for two weeks, after which we hopefully keep him for reals. Today is the day of things not working right electronically or at least taking forever to do so. I'm having issues with my work desktop still - now I can open Word but I can't open anything from the metro interface, which means I can't sync it to my personal account and have to jump through annoying hoops to access my files ( Read more... )

Tired becc is tired and stayed up way too late last night pounding out chapter 63 of FF. I got on a serious roll and now I'm only a few hundred to a thousand words away from finishing it. I think I can finish by chapter 65. I know I've said that before, but I really think I'm almost there. ( more about writing )

So the tooth needs a root canal. Quelle surprise. They couldn't get me in yesterday but that was fine, I didn't have time for it either. Dr. R doesn't work Mondays so they got me in Tuesday morning.
